Yoga Thai Massage-90 min

A 90 minute practice combining yoga and hands on Thai Yoga Massage in a restorative practice of longer holds and deeper breaths. We will utilize props such as bolsters, blocks and cushions where needed to enjoy this passive release of stress and tension.

What is Thai Yoga Massage;

Thai Yoga Massage is typically performed on the floor in loose, comfortable clothing. This technique has been described to assist Hatha yoga. A Thai Massage also incorporates martial art movements, rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along energy lines with gentle stretching and breathing all the while massaging the body.

In addition to toning and stretching the muscles, Thai Yoga Massage improves circulation, relieves muscular tension and spasms, helps increase metabolism, boost immune system, balances the body energetically and induces a calm mental state.

I am excited to offer my newly created combination of Thai Yoga Massage with my restorative Yoga practice for students to receive the benefits of the physical and energetic massage applications during a restorative yoga practice.

We end this practice with deep guided relaxation in Shavasanna and a guided yoga nidra (yoga sleep) while enjoying essential infused warm towels and meditation with music or sound bowls.
