Sunday Flow-Breath, Body & Mind Connection

60 min yoga flow, we begin with a meditation/intention setting, breath work and flowing through a series of strengthening and energizing exercises (asana posture) ending in stillness with a warm essential oil infused towel. Programming our subconscious mind by connecting breath and movement in our practice to gain ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation.

All levels welcome/modifications provided.

Please bring a mat and water if needed, as well as any props to use during practice.

Classes are offered at 9am, just in time for the village to open and explore the boutiques, local vendor market, farm animals or a delicious snack from the village square or Pineridge Hollow restaurant! Make this an experience!

June-August summer classes will be held on the Pine Ridge Village yoga platform located 2 min along the trail behind the Market Square. Alternative indoor location will be announced if required due to inclement weather.

Restorative Candlelight Yoga/Sunset Platform Yoga - Deep breaths and Deep stretches

This yoga practice is slower paced, with poses (asanas) held for a longer period encouraging deeper relaxation. We begin our practice with awareness of our breath and body through intentions and focusing on the deep inhale and longer exhale. Practice using your breath to slow the heartbeat and letting go of everything that doesn't serve you but tends to hang around. This will restore the body and the parasympathetic nervous system for rest and digest, encouraging healing and creating balance for the body, mind and soul. Enjoy the soft music and lighting during practice and leave feeling relaxed, released and rejuvenated with strength and tools to battle daily stress and body tension.

This is an excellent option for anyone new to yoga, needing deep relaxation, struggles with sleep issues, sore muscles and stiffness in the body. Make this practice yours and modify where you need to!

*Props ( pillows, blocks,straps or homemade items) are encouraged to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation but are not required. Please follow the link attached to book directly at this site.

Candlelight Vino Vinyasa/Sunset Platform Restorative Yoga

Join us for an enchanting evening of restorative yoga in a tranquil candle-lit room, accompanied by soothing music to enhance your experience. We will begin our practice with meditation and mindful breathing, setting a peaceful tone for the session.

As we transition into longer, deeper restorative postures, you'll be guided through gentle movements that invite relaxation and release tension. Emphasizing deep breaths, this practice encourages you to connect with your body and mind, fostering a sense of calm and rejuvenation.

We will conclude our session with Savasana, complemented by warm, oil infused towels to nourish your skin and enhance your relaxation. This class is perfect for anyone seeking to unwind, recharge, and cultivate inner peace.

This practice is often enjoyed using props such as bolsters, blocks, blanket, pillows or anything else you would like to incorporate for ultimate relaxation.

Online zoom class!-

Yoga Thai Massage-90 min

A 90 minute practice combining yoga and hands on Thai Yoga Massage in a restorative practice of longer holds and deeper breaths. We will utilize props such as bolsters, blocks and cushions where needed to enjoy this passive release of stress and tension.

What is Thai Yoga Massage;

Thai Yoga Massage is typically performed on the floor in loose, comfortable clothing. This technique has been described to assist Hatha yoga. A Thai Massage also incorporates martial art movements, rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along energy lines with gentle stretching and breathing all the while massaging the body.

In addition to toning and stretching the muscles, Thai Yoga Massage improves circulation, relieves muscular tension and spasms, helps increase metabolism, boost immune system, balances the body energetically and induces a calm mental state.

I am excited to offer my newly created combination of Thai Yoga Massage with my restorative Yoga practice for students to receive the benefits of the physical and energetic massage applications during a restorative yoga practice.

We end this practice with deep guided relaxation in Shavasanna and a guided yoga nidra (yoga sleep) while enjoying essential infused warm towels and meditation with music or sound bowls.

Join us for an enriching workshop nestled in a serene forest dome, where the warmth of a wood fire and the comfort of a warm drink set the perfect ambiance for exploring the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga. This experiential session will guide participants through understanding their unique constitution, reflection on your current health, identifying imbalances, and implementing Ayurvedic practices for optimal health and well-being.

Take home with you a beautifully curated ritual kit to get you started on your journey of living your best life one small step at a time.This includes essential oil blend specific to your dosha, face and body cream and tools specific to your daily ritual regime!

**Workshop Schedule:**

1. **Welcome and Introduction *

- Gather around the fire with a warm drink. ( Fire experience Weather dependant-Indoor option)

- Brief introduction to Ayurveda and its connection to yoga.

- Overview of the workshop agenda.

2. **Understanding Ayurvedic Principles **

- Explanation of the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

- Discussion of how these doshas influence our physical, mental, and emotional health.

- Interactive activity: Participants will complete a simple questionnaire to determine their Ayurvedic constitution.

3. **Identifying Imbalances **

- Discussion on common signs of imbalance and how they manifest in our lives.

- Discussion on the concept of “dis-ease” and its prevention through Ayurveda.

This dish is designed to rest and repair the body, draw out toxins from the gut while the complete protein provides stable blood sugar and energy .
